More than just an animal, it is the epitome of the historic french jewelry house Cartier. In 1933, the company founder Louis Cartier appointed Jeanne Toussaint artistic director of his house. Nicknamed “the panther”, she designs the first panther jewelry, declined in rings and bracelets. This iconic figure has ever since constantly evolved, both in his attitude and in his design and is to this day the signature of the world-renowned brand. The panther is still present in most of its jewelry and is always placed in the most surprising and innovative ways.
