Calling Grace Jones an icon may not be enough to express the impact she had in the fashion industry. Born in Jamaïca and raised in America she started her modeling career when moving in Paris in 1970. She is quickly going to be noticed by important figures such the stylists Issey Miyake and Kenzo Takada. But modeling was not enough for her, in 1978 she started her career as a musician and released several albums which made her internationally famous. She is also going to have a few roles as an actress such as A View To Kill (1985) or Conan the destroyer (1984).
