One foot out in the dance field and the other in fashion, Slimka is a complete artist. He’s part of this new generation of rappers who reinvent the genre and broaden its horizons. Here he goes, always more audacious and curious; Le Grand Mystico is coming on stage. Spiky hair, odd make up, dazzling jewels and glimmering armor, Slimka imposes himself as the leader of a curious freak show inspired by Edward Scissorhands.

  • 1. How is this album different from the previous ones?

I think I managed to put a lot of myself into this project, more than in previous ones. It's more refined, more thoughtful; I'm older now, so my approach to music has evolved.

  • 2. How did you come up with the character "grand mystico"?

I do things based on feeling. It's not always calculated; I just like something, and I do it.

  • 3. How does it feel to be back on stage?

I can't wait. I've been on a break since August, haven't been on stage. I was constantly doing concerts for six years, so now I've had a little break, breathed a bit, and it's going to be great. I'm coming back with a more powerful project, I embrace myself even more and the artistic direction is more advanced

  • 4. What can we wish you for this year?

Achieve gold, platinum or diamond disc, even though we don't really care about that. We're here to conquer it all. No, but really, just health, that's the most important. The rest will come; we'll go get it.
